Diva Cup News: I bought it at this great little natural foods store that I discovered recently. I was in awe when I first saw it on the shelf. I thought I’d only be able to buy them online!
But wow. I was not prepared for the gory scene that would happen when I first tried it out. I of course had to try to get it in a few times and ended up with red fingertips. But it was - nice? If that’s the word for it. I liked it because in order to insert the menstrual cup you actually have to make contact with your vulva. You become more aware of what you’re actually doing and the process your body goes through. Not to mention the Diva Cup is a very positive and happy product that promotes a positive attitude towards women and their menstrual cycles.
I’m going to have to cut down the little tab/tube at the bottom though. I’m also having the tiniest, itty-bittiest cramps but that could also just be the result of me eating too much Edo for lunch today.
I’m going to give a more thorough review after trying it out for a while.
Voting News: The person who was running the booth was incompetent and gave me the wrong information on voting procedure. I learned afterwards that my ballot will most likely be spoiled now. But I don’t feel really one-way-or-the-other about it because my riding isn’t competitive and will likely have the same results as it always does.
